CNC Trimming
Trimming with a CNC router allows for consistent and accurate parts. Akro Plastics is equipped with two full five axis machining centers allowing us to achieve the most demanding tolerances in rotational molding.
Our five axis machines boast 130”x 72”x 48” travel. This delivers impressive flexibility such as multi zone processing, and large part capabilities. We can also adapt to run oversized parts in two step processes.
Additionally we have two three axis machines to utilize for production. We also take advantage of automatic tool change technology to streamline setup times and eliminate costly tool changes.

Our CNC department designs and constructs our fixtures in house. We let our customers design intentions drive the fixture creation process. This minimizes costly CNC programming time and fixture modifications as well as insuring successful and consistent trimming of each part.
